Lithuania 2 Day Itinerary
Day 1: Exploring the Capital - Vilnius
Morning:
- Start your day with a hearty breakfast at a local café. (Recommendations: “Gera Gaja” or “Kavinys Snekutis”)
- Visit the Vilnius Cathedral, one of the most significant religious sites in Lithuania.

Day 2: Discover Trakai and the Hill of Crosses
Morning:
- Head to Trakai, approximately 30 minutes from Vilnius. Visit Trakai Castle, a unique island castle surrounded by beautiful lakes.
- Explore the town of Trakai, learn about its Carpathian-Baltic culture, and try local dishes such as kibinai (meat pastries).
Afternoon:
- Journey to The Hill of Crosses, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Trakai. This moving site is filled with hundreds of thousands of crosses and is a symbol of Lithuanian resilience.
- On your way back to Vilnius, stop by Rumsiskes Open-Air Museum to experience traditional Lithuanian architecture and rural life.
Evening:
- Return to Vilnius for a final dinner at “Užupio Kūėnas” or “Lokys”.
- Reflect on your journey and share stories of your experiences with fellow travelers in one of the city’s lively bars or music venues.
