Liberia 7-Day Itinerary: Exploring West Africa’s Jewel (Markdown format)

Day 1: Arrival in Monrovia

Day 2: Exploring Monrovia

  • Morning: Visit the National Museum of Liberia to learn about the country’s history and culture
  • Afternoon: Head to Mt. Coffee Forest Reserve for hiking and wildlife spotting. Don’t forget your binoculars!
  • Evening: Relax at Green Mamba Cafe, a popular spot among locals and travelers

Day 3: Travel to Buchanan

  • Morning: Depart Monrovia for Buchanan (approximately 4 hours drive) via road or domestic flight. We recommend the Gambia Bird Airlines
  • Afternoon: Explore the town, visit the Buchanan Heritage Park, and learn about the Liberian rubber industry at the Firestone Farm

Day 4: Exploring Grand Cape Mount

Day 7: Departure

  • Morning: Travel back to Monrovia (approximately 3 hours drive) via road or domestic flight. Spend the remaining time shopping for souvenirs, visiting any missed attractions, or relaxing at your hotel before departing from RIA
