Laos 7-Day Travel Itinerary (Markdown Format)

Day 1: Vientiane

  1. Arrival at Wattay International Airport, Vientiane

    • Check visa requirements before traveling (Visit Laos Embassy website)
    • Get a taxi or tuk-tuk from the airport to your hotel (around $5-$8)

  2. Explore Vientiane

    • Visit That Luang Stupa, a national symbol and religious monument
    • Explore Patuxay Monument, known as “Victory Gate”
    • Wander around the charming Morning Market

Day 2: Vientiane to Luang Prabang

  1. Travel from Vientiane to Luang Prabang (Flight ~1 hour, Bus ~8 hours)

  2. Explore Luang Prabang

    • Visit the sacred Wat Xieng Thong, one of the most beautiful temples in Laos
    • Climb Mount Phousi for a panoramic view of the city at sunset

Day 3 & 4: Luang Prabang
