Kenya 5-Day Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi (Arrival & City Tour)

  1. Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
  2. Get your e-Visa (required for most nationalities) before travel, or arrange for a visa on arrival ($50).
  3. Check into your hotel and freshen up.
  4. Visit the Nairobi National Park, home to diverse wildlife like lions, rhinos, and hippos, right next to the city.
  5. Explore the Karen Blixen Museum, famous for “Out of Africa” by Isak Dinesen.
  6. Experience the Maasai Market at the Village Market or Yaya Centre for some shopping.

Day 2: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park (Travel & Wildlife Viewing)

  1. Early morning departure from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park (approx. 3 hours drive).
  2. Arrive at the park and embark on a game drive, where you can spot flamingos, lions, rhinos, and other wildlife.
  3. Visit the Lake Nakuru National Park’s unique alkaline lake, known for its large flamingo populations.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara National Reserve (Travel & Game Drive)
