Day 1: Explore Kathmandu Durbar Square and Thamel

Morning:

Afternoon:

  • Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with ancient palaces, temples, and courtyards.
  • Explore the intricate woodcarvings at Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the old royal residence of the Nepalese kings.

Evening:

  • Grab dinner at Momo Takery in Thamel to taste authentic Nepali dumplings called momos.
  • Stroll around Thamel, known for its vibrant nightlife and various shops selling trekking gear, traditional artifacts, and handicrafts.

Day 2: Sightseeing at Bhaktapur and Patan

  • After breakfast, take a short drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, another UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich architecture and pottery work.

Afternoon:

Day 3: Visit Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)
