Day 1: Arrival & Old City Exploration

Day 2: Jewish Quarter & Mount of Olives

Day 4: Bethlehem & Departure

Morning: Take a short trip to Bethlehem, traditionally regarded as the birthplace of Jesus. Visit Church of the Nativity.

Afternoon: Return to Jerusalem and spend your final hours exploring any missed sites or relaxing at your hotel before departure.
Transportation: Jerusalem has an excellent public transport system with buses and light rail connecting all major sites. Taxis are also widely available, but fares can be high. Consider purchasing a Rav Kav travel card for unlimited travel on public transportation.
Things to Know:
- Dress Modestly: Jerusalem is a religious city, and it’s respectful to wear modest clothing when visiting holy sites.
- Opening Hours: Most sites are closed or have reduced hours on Saturdays (Shabbat). Check opening times before you go.
- Currency: Israel’s official currency is the New Israeli Shekel (NIS). Credit cards are widely accepted, but it’s always good to have some cash on hand.
- Language: Hebrew and Arabic are Israel’s official languages, with English widely spoken in tourist areas.
- Tipping: A service charge is often added to restaurant bills, but tipping additionaly is appreciated.
