Israel 6-Day Itinerary (Markdown Format)
Day 1: Arrival in Tel Aviv
- Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv.
- Check into your hotel and rest from jet lag.
- Visit the vibrant Carmel Market for local food and souvenirs.
- Evening stroll along Tel Aviv Beach.
- Note: Israel uses Type H electric plugs. Adapters may be needed for electronics.
Day 2: Tel Aviv & Jaffa
- Morning visit to the Dizengoff Center and White City (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
- Afternoon exploration of Jaffa, an ancient port city with a rich history.
- Visit the Jaffa Port and St. Peter’s Church.
- Enjoy a traditional Israeli dinner in Jaffa’s old town.
Day 3: Caesarea, Haifa & Acre (Akko)
- Travel north to Caesarea, an ancient Roman port city.
- Continue to Haifa, visit the Baha’i Gardens and Haifa Port.
- End the day in Acre (Akko), explore the Old City, including the Knights Halls and Underground Prisoners Museum.
Day 4: Rosh Hanikra & Nazareth
- Morning visit to the Grottoes of Rosh Hanikra.
- Travel inland to Nazareth, the town where Jesus is believed to have spent his childhood.
- Visit the Church of Annunciation and Mary’s Well.
- Continue to nearby Sepphoris, an ancient city and former capital of Galilee.
Day 5: Sea of Galilee & Capernaum
- Start the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.
- Visit the Church of Multiplication and Capernaum, where Jesus is believed to have lived.
- Proceed to Mount of Beatitudes, the place where Jesus is said to have delivered the Sermon on the Mount.
- End the day in Tiberias.
Day 6: Jerusalem
- Travel to Jerusalem.
- Visit the Western Wall and the Temple Mount (Al-Haram al-Sharif).
- Explore the Old City, including the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Via Dolorosa, and the Jewish Quarter.
- End your day with a breathtaking view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives at sunset.
