Day 1: Exploring Hoi An Ancient Town

Hoi An Ancient Town: Start your exploration with this UNESCO World Heritage site. Wander through the narrow streets, take photos at iconic spots like the Japanese Covered Bridge (Cầu Băng Trốn) and Phuc Kien Assembly Hall.

An Bang Beach: After touring the Ancient Town, head to An Bang Beach for a relaxing afternoon. Lounge on the sand, swim in the sea, or enjoy fresh seafood at one of the beachside restaurants like The Deck Restaurant & Bar.

Hoi An Night Market: Experience local life at the Hoi An Night Market. Browse through stalls selling local goods, enjoy street food, and take part in traditional games.

Day 2: Discovering Hoi An’s Countryside & My Khe Beach

Hoi An Countryside Bike Tour: Spend the morning exploring Hoi An’s beautiful countryside on a bike tour. Visit villages, rice fields, and water coconut palms while learning about local life. Grassington Adventure Group offers excellent guided tours.
Afternoon:

My Khe Beach: Head to My Khe Beach for more sun, sand, and sea. This quieter beach offers a chance to relax and unwind after an active morning. Lunch can be had at Reaching Out Tea House & Restaurant or Banh My Phong Ba.

Fishing Village: Take a boat trip to the nearby Thanh Bon fishing village (around 3 PM) for an authentic look at the daily lives of local fishermen.
Evening:
- Dinner: Have your final meal in Hoi An at Café Luna overlooking the Thu Bon River, or return to one of your favorite spots from Day 1 for a fitting farewell to this enchanting town.
Things to Know:
- Hoi An’s weather can be hot and humid, so pack light, breathable clothing and sunscreen.
- Vietnamese Dong is the local currency; however, many places accept US dollars as well.
- Bargain at markets and shops for a better price.
- Taxis are readily available, or use motorbike taxis for short distances. Grab app (similar to Uber) also operates in Hoi An.
- Respect local customs and dress modestly when visiting temples and other religious sites.
