Grenada 6-Day Itinerary (Markdown Format)
Day 1: Arrival & Capital Exploration
- Arrive at Maurice Bishop International Airport (GBG). Visa Information: No visa is required for U.S., Canadian, and British citizens for stays under 3 months.
- Transfer to the capital city, St. George’s. Visit the Carenage, a vibrant waterfront area with colorful buildings and local vendors.
- Explore the historic Fort George offering panoramic views of St. George’s and the island.
- Enjoy lunch at one of the local seafood restaurants nearby.
- Visit the Grenada National Museum, learn about the country’s history, culture, and heritage.
Day 2: Grand Etang & Concord Falls
- Head to the Grand Etang National Park. Hike through the rainforest, visit the crater lake, and enjoy the lush scenery.
- Stop by the Twin Falls for a refreshing swim under the waterfalls.
- Continue to the beautiful Concord Falls. Swim in the crystal-clear pools and explore the surrounding rainforest.
Day 3: Grenville & Carriacou Island
- Take a ferry to Carriacou Island (approximately 2 hours). Enjoy the island’s unique Caribbean vibe and beautiful beaches.
- Visit the charming town of Grenville. Check out the Carriacou Maritime Museum for insights into the island’s history.
- Relax on one of Carriacou’s pristine beaches, such as Anse La Roche or Anse Vata.
Day 4: Spice Plantations & Beach Relaxation
- Visit a Spice Plantation (Grenada is known for nutmeg, ginger, cocoa, and other spices). Learn about the cultivation process and sample the products.
- Enjoy lunch at one of the plantations, many offer traditional Grenadian cuisine.
- Spend the afternoon relaxing on Grand Anse Beach, one of Grenada’s most popular beaches.
Day 5: Underwater Sculpture Park & Levera National Park
- Visit the Molinière Underwater Sculpture Park. Snorkel or dive among stunning sculptures by artist Jason deCaires Taylor.
- Head to Levera National Park on the northeastern tip of Grenada. Enjoy the pristine beaches and observe nesting sea turtles (seasonal).
Day 6: Shopping & Departure
- Spend your last day exploring local markets and shops for souvenirs, spices, or handicrafts.
- Visit Belmont Estate, a historical plantation that also offers a restaurant with beautiful views.
- Transfer to Maurice Bishop International Airport (GBG) for departure.
