Greenland 7-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Nuuk (Godthab)
- Arrive at Nuuk International Airport.
- Settle into your accommodation.
- Visit Nuuk Art Museum and the National Museum of Greenland to learn about Inuit culture.
- Stroll around the colorful houses in downtown Nuuk, visit the Harpa fjord, and take a short hike up to Qooqqut Nua (The Polar Circle).
- Dinner at local restaurant like Kaffemik or Cafe Forvaldsmansgaarden.
Day 2: Nuuk Exploration & Boat Tour
- Spend the morning exploring the Nuuk Market and Katuaq Cultural Center.
- In the afternoon, take a boat tour to the beautiful Nuussuaq Peninsula, spot seals and enjoy the stunning landscapes.
- Return for dinner in Nuuk.
Day 3: Sisimiut
- Travel by bus or flight to Sisimiut (Jyskeminde).
- Visit the old hunting weapons museum at the Silap Inngiaq.
- Take a stroll around the town, enjoy the view of icebergs in the fjord.
- Overnight stay in Sisimiut.
Day 4: Kitsissuarsuit (Dundas)
- Travel by boat or helicopter to Kitsissuarsuit (Dundas).
- Explore the remains of the British whaling station and the small Inuit settlement.
- Take a hike up Mount Dundas for a panoramic view of the icefjord.
- Overnight stay in Kitsissuarsuit.
Day 5: Ilulissat & Icefjord
- Travel to Ilulissat and check into your accommodation.
- Visit the Ilulissat Icefjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and witness the calving glaciers.
- Take a boat tour of the icefjord or try dog sledding (seasonal).
- Dinner at local restaurant like Ataaaja or Hotel Hvide Falk.
Day 6: Ilulissat Exploration
- Visit the Ilulissat Museum and the Greenland’s Serum Laboratory.
- Take a walk along the beautiful Rodebay, enjoy the view of the icefjord.
- Optionally, take a helicopter tour over the ice cap or try kayaking among the icebergs.
- Farewell dinner in Ilulissat.
Day 7: Departure
- Spend your last hours shopping for Greenlandic souvenirs at local stores.
- Depart from Ilulissat Airport to your next destination.
