Great Britain 6-Day Travel Itinerary (Markdown Format)
Day 1: London
- Arrival at Heathrow or Gatwick Airport. Remember to get the Oyster Card for travel within London.
- Visit Buckingham Palace, change of the Guard (10:45 am on most days).
- Explore the British Museum, it’s free!
- Evening at Leicester Square, try fish and chips at a local pub.
- Overnight at a hotel in central London.
Day 2: London
- Morning visit to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
- Afternoon at the Natural History Museum or Victoria and Albert Museum.
- Evening Thames River Cruise.
- Overnight at a hotel in central London.

Day 3: Oxford & Cambridge
- Morning train to Oxford (approx. 1 hour from London). Visit the University of Oxford, including Bodleian Library and Christ Church.
- Afternoon train to Cambridge (approx. 1 hour from Oxford). Explore the University of Cambridge, punting on the River Cam is a must!
- Overnight in a hotel near the station or return to London.
Day 4: Bath & Bristol
- Morning train to Bath (approx. 1.5 hours from London). Visit the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey.
- Afternoon at the Jane Austen Centre or Royal Victoria Park.
- Evening train to Bristol (approx. 20 minutes). Overnight at a hotel in Bristol.
Day 5: Stratford-upon-Avon & Cotswolds
- Morning train to Stratford-upon-Avon (approx. 1 hour from Bristol). Visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace and Anne Hathaway’s Cottage.
- Afternoon drive to the Cotswolds (rent a car or join a tour). Visit charming towns like Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Bibury.
- Overnight at a hotel in the Cotswolds or return to Bristol.
Day 6: Stonehenge & Windsor (before departure)
- Morning train to Salisbury (approx. 2 hours from Bristol). Visit Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral.
