Day 1: Arrival & Alhambra Exploration

  • Arrive at Federico García Lorca Granada–Jaén Airport (GRX).
  • Check into your hotel, we recommend Casas del Rey de Baeza, a boutique hotel with a charming courtyard and comfortable rooms.
  • Visit the Alhambra. Book your tickets in advance to avoid long queues. Spend the afternoon exploring its architectural wonders.

Things to know: Alhambra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so dress appropriately (no shorts or sandals).

  • For dinner, head to Casa Nicolas, a popular spot serving traditional Spanish cuisine.

Day 2: Albayzin & Sacromonte

  • Spend the morning exploring the Albayzín, Granada’s historic Muslim quarter. Get lost in its narrow streets and enjoy the stunning views of the Alhambra.

  • Depending on your flight time, explore any remaining spots in the city or relax at a café before heading to GRX for your departure.

Transportation: The best way to get around Granada is by walking. Buses are also available for longer journeys, like to Sierra Nevada. Consider getting a Granada Card for discounted entry fees and free public transportation.
