Granada Travel Itinerary (5 Days)
Day 1: Arrival & Alhambra Exploration
- Arrival: Granada’s Federico García Lorca Airport is the nearest for international travelers. You can also arrive by train at Granada Station or bus at Granada Bus Station.
- Accommodation: Stay in the historic quarter, Albaicín, for easy access to major attractions. Some recommendations include Casa La Judía, Hotel Casa 1800, and AC Palacio del Generalife.
- Lunch: Visit Casa Morisca or El Aguardiente, traditional Andalusian restaurants in the Albaicín neighborhood.
- Afternoon: Head to the Alhambra, a stunning palace and fortress complex. Book your tickets online in advance as it can get busy. Spend the afternoon exploring its three main areas: the Alcazaba, the Nasrid Palaces, and the Generalife Gardens.
- Evening: Enjoy sunset views from Mirador San Nicolás or Mirador de Morisca, both offering breathtaking panoramas of the Alhambra. For dinner, try El Charnel or Los Tarantos in the vibrant Sacromonte neighborhood.
Day 2: Albaicín & Sacromonte Exploration

- Evening: Return to Granada and relax in one of the city’s thermal baths such as Hammam Al Andalus or Banos Árabes Casa del Chapiz.
Day 4: Museums & Gardens
- Morning: Visit the Museum of the Memory of the Spanish Civil War (Museo de la Memoria de la Guerra Civil Española) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo).

- Afternoon: Explore the beautiful gardens of the Generalife and the Alhambra (if you missed it on Day 1) or the Generalife Gardens of Cartuja Monastery.

Day 5: Departure
