Granada Travel Itinerary (5 Days)

Day 1: Arrival & Alhambra Exploration

  • Arrival: Granada’s Federico García Lorca Airport is the nearest for international travelers. You can also arrive by train at Granada Station or bus at Granada Bus Station.
  • Accommodation: Stay in the historic quarter, Albaicín, for easy access to major attractions. Some recommendations include Casa La Judía, Hotel Casa 1800, and AC Palacio del Generalife.
  • Lunch: Visit Casa Morisca or El Aguardiente, traditional Andalusian restaurants in the Albaicín neighborhood.
  • Afternoon: Head to the Alhambra, a stunning palace and fortress complex. Book your tickets online in advance as it can get busy. Spend the afternoon exploring its three main areas: the Alcazaba, the Nasrid Palaces, and the Generalife Gardens.
