7-Day Travel Itinerary for Gibraltar
Day 1: Arrival & City Orientation
- Arrive at Gibraltar Airport (GIB) or via ferry from Spain.

- Visit the Main Street, lined with British retail outlets, bars, and restaurants.
- Explore the Moorish Castle, offering panoramic views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea.
- In the evening, enjoy local cuisine at one of the many eateries in the area.
- Things to know: Gibraltar uses the British pound (GBP). The primary language is English, but Spanish is also spoken by some locals.
Day 2: Nature & Wildlife
- Morning visit to the Dolphin Watching and Caves Tour. Spot dolphins in their natural habitat while exploring the coastline and caves.
- After lunch, head to the Apes’ Den, home to the iconic Gibraltar Barbary Macaques.
- In the afternoon, explore the Botanical Gardens, housing over 10,000 species of subtropical flora.
Day 3: Cultural Exploration
- Visit the Museum of Gibraltar to learn about the city’s rich history and culture.
- Head to the Great Siege Tunnels, a network of tunnels dug during the Great Siege of Gibraltar in 1782.

Day 4: Leisure Day

Visa Requirements:
British, American, Australian, Canadian, Irish, and New Zealand citizens do not require a visa to enter Gibraltar for up to 6 months. For other nationalities, check with the relevant Gibraltar authorities or embassy.
Transportation:
Taxis are readily available in Gibraltar, while buses provide an affordable option for getting around the city. Renting a car is also an option, but be aware of the road rules and parking restrictions.
