Frankfurt Germany 5 Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & City Exploration

  • Morning: Arrive at Frankfurt Airport (Flughafen Frankfurt am Main). You can easily reach the city center by train (S-Bahn S8 or S9) within 15 minutes. Check into your hotel (recommended: Hyatt Regency Frankfurt or NH Collection Frankfurt City).

  • Afternoon: Start your exploration with Römerberg, the historic old town square, which was rebuilt after World War II to its medieval state. Visit the Römer, Frankfurt’s city hall. Then, head towards St. Paul’s Church (Paulskirche) and the Goethe House Museum.

  • Evening: Enjoy a meal at Zur Linde, one of Frankfurt’s oldest taverns dating back to 1463. Try traditional dishes like Frankfurter Würstchen and Grüne Soße (green sauce).
