Fes 7-Day Itinerary
day 1: Arrival & Exploring the Medina
- Arrive at Fes–Saïs Airport or Train Station.
- Check-in at your Riad (traditional Moroccan guesthouse) in the Medina, such as Riad Yasmine or Riad Fes.
- Start exploring the Medina, visit the Bou Inania Madrasa and the Attarine Madrasa.
- For lunch, try a local eatery like Cafe Clock, known for its Moroccan salads and camel burgers.
- In the afternoon, wander through the Souks (markets) in the Medina. Don’t forget to haggle!
- Dinner at Nomad or Le Jardin des Orangers for a taste of fine Moroccan cuisine.
day 2: Exploring the Medina (Day 2)
- Breakfast at your Riad.
- Visit the Chouara Tannery and the Nejjarine Square with its beautiful fountain and Museum of Wood Arts and Crafts.

- Afternoon visit to the Borj Nord for panoramic views of Fes.

day 3: Day Trip to Meknes & Volubilis

day 6: Relaxing Day

day 7: Departure
- Breakfast at your Riad.
- Check-out and transfer to Fes–Saïs Airport or Train Station for departure.
Things to Know:
- Dress modestly when visiting mosques and religious sites. Women should cover their heads and wear long sleeves and pants.
- Bargaining is expected in the souks, but be aware of fair prices.
- Taxis are widely available, but negotiate the price before getting in.
- The Medina can be confusing, so keep a map handy or hire a guide.
- Cash (Moroccan Dirhams) is preferred for purchases and tipping. Some places may accept credit cards, but there may be fees involved.
