Equatorial Guinea 6-Day Travel Itinerary
馃搮 Day 1: Arrival & Malabo City Exploration
- Arrive at Malabo International Airport. (Visa requirements: Ensure you have a valid visa before travel, as obtaining one on arrival may not always be possible.)
- Check into your hotel and freshen up. Recommended hotels: Gran Meli谩 Col贸n or Hotel El谩 Nguema.
- Visit the Presidential Palace (Palacio Presidencial), a modern architectural marvel overlooking the sea.
- Explore Malabo’s bustling city center, including the Central Market and the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.
- Enjoy local cuisine at one of Malabo’s restaurants, such as El Pueblo or La Bodega del Embajador.
馃搮 Day 2: Corisco Island & Punta Europa
- Take a speedboat from Luba (approx. 1h30m) to Corisco Island. (Boats can be arranged through your hotel.)
- Visit the lighthouse at Punta Europa, the southernmost point of mainland Africa.
- Relax on Corisco’s beautiful beaches and explore the island’s dense tropical rainforest.
- Return to Luba in the evening and spend the night there or travel back to Malabo for a hotel stay.
馃搮 Day 3: Monte Alen National Park
- Hire a taxi or join a tour group for a day trip to Monte Alen National Park (approx. 2h drive).
- Trek through the rainforest and observe various species of primates, including chimpanzees, gorillas, and drills.
- Visit the picturesque waterfalls within the park.
- Return to Malabo in the evening.

- Travel by road or air to Bata City (approx. 3h drive or 30min flight).
- Visit the historic town of Santa Isabel and its iconic Spanish colonial buildings.
- Take a tour to Moka National Park, home to numerous elephants, monkeys, and hippos.
- Return to Bata City and spend the night. Recommended hotels: Hotel Presidente or Hotel La Colonia.
馃搮 Day 5: Luba & Bioko Cruz
- Drive to Luba (approx. 1h) and take a cable car up Mount Cameroon, also known as Bioko Cruz (approx. 20min).
- Enjoy panoramic views of the islands of Bioko and Corisco from the top of the mountain.
- Return to Luba and spend the night.

- Spend your last hours shopping for souvenirs in Malabo or Bata City, such as Batik fabrics, wooden masks, and palm oil soap.
- Transfer to Malabo International Airport for your departure flight.
