Dubai 5-Day Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Downtown Dubai
- Arrive at Dubai International Airport.
- Check-in at Burj Al Arab Jumeirah (one of the world’s most luxurious hotels).
- Visit Jumeirah Public Beach for a relaxing afternoon.
- Explore Jumeirah Mosque (closed for visitors on Fridays) and the nearby traditional Arabic souks.
- In the evening, head to Dubai Mall and check out the famous Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world).
- Take a ride to the observation deck on level 124/125 for breathtaking views of the city.
- Have dinner at The Cheesecake Factory or Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen located within The Dubai Mall.
Day 2: Old Dubai & Dubai Parks and Resorts
- Begin with a traditional Arabian breakfast at Al Fanar Restaurant and Cafe in Al Seef.
- Visit the historic district of Al Seef, featuring restored wind-tower houses and traditional architecture.
- Explore Dubai Creek by Abra (water taxi) and visit Deira Souk.
- Head to Dubai Parks and Resorts - choose from three theme parks: Motiongate, Bollywood Parks, or Legoland.
- Have dinner at Rasooh Al Arabi for authentic Emirati cuisine.
Day 3: Desert Safari & Cultural Activities
- Book a morning or evening Desert Safari tour that includes dune bashing, camel riding, and a traditional BBQ dinner.
- Visit the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU) to gain insight into Emirati culture and traditions.
- Participate in the Friday Brunch or Saturday Buffet Lunch for a more immersive experience.
- In the evening, unwind at your hotel or explore the lively Global Village (open from October to April).
Day 4: Palm Jumeirah & Bluewaters Island
- After breakfast, take a taxi to Palm Jumeirah.
- Visit the Aquaventure Waterpark or relax on the pristine beaches of The Palm.
- Head over to Bluewaters Island and check out The Ain Dubai, the world’s largest and tallest ferris wheel.
- Have lunch at Giardino for Italian cuisine with a view.
- Spend the afternoon shopping at City Walk or exploring nearby attractions like KidZania or The Pointe.
Day 5: Leisure & Departure
- Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel before checking out.
- Visit any remaining sights, such as the Dubai Miracle Garden (open from October to May) or IMG Worlds of Adventure.
- Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool, soaking up the sun, or indulging in some retail therapy at one of Dubai’s many malls.
- Head to the airport for your departure flight.
Transportation: Taxis are widely available and affordable. Dubai Metro is also an excellent option for exploring the city. You can purchase a Nol Card for unlimited travel on both taxis and the metro.
Things to know:
- Dubai operates on a weekend system, with Friday and Saturday being the days off for most businesses.
- Modesty is essential when dressing in public places. Avoid revealing clothes.
- Be mindful of local customs and traditions during your visit.
- Tipping is customary in Dubai. A service charge may already be included in your bill.
