Dubai 6-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Downtown Exploration
- Stay at: Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, one of the world’s most luxurious hotels (recommended but pricier option) or consider more budget-friendly options such as Rove Downtown Dubai or Ibis One Central.
- Transportation: Dubai offers an efficient public transport system, including the Metro and buses. You can also opt for taxis or ride-hailing services like Careem or Uber.
Activities:
- Visit the iconic Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Take a trip to the observation deck on Level 124 (at least level 124 & 125 for best views).
- Wander around Dubai Mall and explore various shops, restaurants, and attractions such as the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo or the VR Park.
- Experience the mesmerizing Dubai Fountain Show, which performs every 30 minutes from 6 PM to 11 PM.
Day 2: Old Dubai & Heritage Sites
- Breakfast at: Al Fanar Restaurant and Café, an authentic Emirati dining experience, with a rich menu showcasing traditional dishes.
Activities:
- Visit the historic neighborhood of Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood (also known as Al Bastakiya) and discover its wind-tower houses, museums, art galleries, and souks (markets).
- Explore the Spice Souk, Gold Souk, and Textile Souk to experience the vibrant trade that Dubai is renowned for.
- Pay a visit to Jumeirah Mosque (closed on Fridays) to learn more about Islamic architecture and culture.

Day 3: Modern Dubai & Palm Jumeirah
- Breakfast at: The French Bakery, offering a variety of delicious pastries and sandwiches.

- Head to the palm-shaped island of Palm Jumeirah and marvel at its architecture, including the famous Atlantis The Palm.
- Take a photo with the iconic Burj Al Arab Hotel.
- Spend some time at Aquaventure Waterpark (located in Atlantis The Palm) or relax on the pristine beach.
- Visit The View at The Palm, a panoramic observation deck with stunning views of Palm Jumeirah and the Dubai skyline.
Day 4: Desert Safari & Cultural Evening
- Breakfast at your hotel, as most desert safaris include lunch and dinner.
Activities:
- Experience a traditional Arabian Desert Safari, where you’ll embark on a thrilling dune bashing adventure followed by camel rides, sandboarding, and a cultural evening featuring henna painting, belly dancing, and a barbecue dinner under the stars. (There are numerous tour operators offering desert safaris, so choose one that suits your preferences.)
Day 5: Bluewaters Island & Global Village
- Breakfast at: The Cheesecake Factory, located in Bluewaters Island.
Activities:
- Explore the newest island of Dubai, Bluewaters Island, and visit Ain Dubai (the world’s largest ferris wheel), The Wave House, and enjoy a meal at one of the numerous restaurants on the island.
- Head to Global Village in the evening (only open during winter season from mid-October to late March) to immerse yourself in various international cultures, food, and entertainment.
Day 6: Last Minutes & Departure
- Breakfast at your hotel before checking out.
- Spend some time relaxing or shopping for souvenirs before your flight.
- Transportation: Head to the airport using your preferred mode of transport (Metro, taxi, ride-hailing services). Keep in mind that traffic can be heavy during peak hours, so plan accordingly.
Tips:
- Dress appropriately when visiting mosques and public places; shoulders and knees should be covered.
- Drinking alcohol in public is only permitted at licensed venues (like hotels).
- Always carry water with you as it can get quite hot in Dubai.
