Dresden 7-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Introduction to Dresden
- Check-in at your accommodation (recommended: Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski)
- Start with a visit to the Albertinum Museum for modern and contemporary art collections.
- Lunch at Café Einstein Stammhaus, located in the historic Neumarkt square.
- In the afternoon, explore the famous Frauenkirche and The Semper Opera House.
- Dinner at Zur letzten Instanz, the oldest restaurant in Germany.
- Don’t miss the Blue Wonder (Elbe River boat trip) for a night view of Dresden.
Day 2: Royal Dresden
- Morning visit to the Dresden Castle with its Green Vault treasury and the Royal Cabinet of Mathematical and Physical Instruments (tickets included in the Dresden Castle ticket).
- Lunch at Café Bistro am Zwinger.
- Afternoon visit to the nearby Japanese Palace and the Dresden Botanical Garden.

Day 4: Brühl’s Gardens & Albertinum Extension

Day 5: Day Trip to Meissen
- Morning train ride (approx. 30 minutes) to Meissen and visit the famous Meissen Porcelain Manufactory.

- Afternoon visit to the historic town center, including the beautiful Meissen Cathedral and Albrechtsburg Castle.

Day 6: Day Trip to Potsdam
- Morning train ride (approx. 1 hour) to Potsdam and visit the famous Sanssouci Palace.

Day 7: Farewell Dresden
- Spend your last day in Dresden visiting any sights you may have missed or revisiting favorite spots.
- Lunch at a local favorite like Café am Neumarkt or Bistro 14.
- Afternoon free for shopping, relaxing or exploring more of the city.
- Check-out from your hotel and depart Dresden.
