Day 1: Arrival & Exploring Historic Delhi
- Morning: Check-in at a conveniently located hotel like The Lalit or The Oberoi, New Delhi.
- Afternoon: Visit Humayun’s Tomb, the first garden tomb in India and an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then head to Qutub Minar, one of the tallest minarets in the world.
- Evening: Explore the bustling Chandni Chowk market, famous for its street food. Try delicacies like Parathas at ‘Paranthe Wali Gali’ and Chaat at ‘Golcha’.
- Transportation: Auto-rickshaws are a common mode of transport in Delhi; ensure you negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
Day 2: Exploring Modern Delhi & India Gate
- Morning: Visit India Gate, a war memorial, and the nearby Rastrapati Bhawan (President’s House) and National Museum.
