Cyprus 3 Day Itinerary
Day 1: Exploring Nicosia and the Troodos Mountains

Morning: Arrival at Larnaca International Airport. If you need a visa, check Cyprus Visa Requirements for your nationality. After picking up your rental car or arranging transportation, head to the capital city, Nicosia. Visit the Ledra Street - a pedestrian street where the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot sides of the city meet. Don’t forget to explore the Venetian Walls, the Buyinge Mosque, and the Olympic Lefkosia Park.

Afternoon: Drive towards the Troodos Mountains (approximately 45 minutes from Nicosia). Visit the beautiful Trooditissa Monastery and enjoy a picnic in the surrounding pine forests. The highest peak, Mount Olympus, offers stunning views and hiking opportunities if you’re up for it.

Evening: Head back to Nicosia and explore the vibrant nightlife in the city. Try some local Cypriot dishes like Souvlaki, Halloumi, or Moussaka at a traditional taverna.
Day 2: Beaches and Aphrodite’s Mythical Landscapes

Morning: Drive to the Ayia Napa region (approximately 1 hour from Nicosia). Visit the Ayia Napa Monastery, a beautiful Byzantine monastery dating back to the 15th century. Then, head to the famous Fig Tree Bay for a relaxing day at one of Cyprus’ best beaches.

Afternoon: Continue your journey to Protaras and visit the Cape Greco National Forest Park. The park offers breathtaking views, hiking trails, and pristine beaches such as Konnos Bay and Faros Beach.

Evening: Enjoy a sunset dinner at one of the seafront restaurants in Protaras or Ayia Napa, sampling more local delicacies.
Day 3: Ancient Kourion and Larnaca

Morning: Head back to Larnaca (approximately 1 hour from Protaras). Visit the Church of St. Lazarus, one of the most beautiful Byzantine churches on the island. Then, explore the Kourion Archaeological Site. Here you can see a Roman amphitheater, ancient ruins, and enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean.

Afternoon: Spend your last afternoon exploring Larnaca’s charming old town, including the Hala Sultan Tekke, a beautiful mosque located on the salt lake, and the Finikoudes Promenade. Don’t forget to visit the Museum of Underwater Aquarium to learn about Cyprus’ rich marine life.
