Cuba 6-Day Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Havana
- Arrival at José Martí International Airport, Havana.
- Check-in at a Casa Particular (private home-stay).
- Explore Old Havana (Habana Vieja), visit Plaza de la Catedral, Plaza Vieja, and the iconic Capitol Building.
- Enjoy a traditional Cuban meal at a local paladar (private restaurant).
- Evening stroll along the Malecón.
Things to Know:
- Cash is king in Cuba! Bring CUC (Cuban Convertible Peso) as USD can incur extra fees.
- Wi-Fi is limited, consider purchasing a Nauta Hogar card for internet access at hotels or Wi-Fi spots.
- Cuban time is casual, so expect things to run later than scheduled.
Day 2: Havana
- Visit the Museum of the Revolution and the John Lennon Park.
- Ride a classic car across the city.
- Salsa dance lessons in a local club.
- Explore the colorful neighborhood of Fusterlandia.
Day 3: Viñales
- Travel to Viñales (approx. 3 hours by Viazul bus or hire a taxi).
- Tour the Valley of Viñales, visit Mural de la Prehistoria and Los Jazmines lookout point.
- Horseback ride through tobacco farms.
- Stay overnight in a rural guesthouse.
Day 4: Cienfuegos
- Travel to Cienfuegos (approx. 2 hours by bus or taxi).
- Visit Paseo del Prado, Palacio de Valle and the Botanical Garden.

- Overnight stay in Cienfuegos.
Day 5: Trinidad

Day 6: Santa Clara

- Visit Che Guevara’s Mausoleum and the Armored Train Park.
- Depart from Santa Clara’s Antonio Maceo International Airport for your return journey.
Transportation:
- Viazul is the primary state-owned bus company offering long-distance travel. Taxis are also available but can be expensive.
Visa Requirements:
