Córdoba, Spain 6-Day Itinerary (Markdown Format)

Day 1: Arrival & Historic Center

Check-in at your accommodation in the historic center. Recommended: Hotel Alfonso XIII or Ccasa del Pozo Patios
Explore the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Mezquita-Cathedral, Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, Judería
Have lunch at a local restaurant: Bodega San Miguel, El Andaluz or La Bicicleta
In the evening, visit the famous Patios de Córdoba during the Patio Festival (if it’s in season) or enjoy a flamenco show at Tablao del Sacromonte

Day 2: Roman Ruins & Museums

Morning visit to the Roman Temple, Forum Romanum and Casa de Sefarad
Lunch at a local eatery: El Andaluz or El Amanecer Cordobés
Afternoon visit to the Museo Arqueológico de Córdoba and the Museo de Bellas Artes de Córdoba
Evening stroll along the river Guadalquivir and dinner at a riverside restaurant like El Punto or La Carboná

Day 3: Day Trip to Medina Azahara & Montilla Wine Country

Morning visit to Medina Azahara
Lunch in the nearby town of Montilla at a local bodega like Bodegas San Martín de Algaba or Bodegas Félix y Franco
Afternoon wine tasting tour in the Montilla-Moriles Designation of Origin area (book a guided tour ahead)
Return to Córdoba for dinner and relaxation

Day 4: Day Trip to Sierra Morena & Villages

Day 5: Modern Art & Traditional Crafts

Morning visit to the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (MACC)
Lunch at a local favorite: La Bodega or El Guardián del Rey
Afternoon visit to the Museo de Córdoba, focusing on traditional crafts and local history
