Cook Islands 5-Day Travel Itinerary
🌴 Day 1: Arrival & Rarotonga Beach Exploration
- Arrive at Rarotonga International Airport (RAR). No visa is required for most nationalities, but check the Cook Islands Immigration website for updates.
- Transfer to your accommodation via taxi or shuttle service (arranged in advance).
- Spend the day relaxing on some of Rarotonga’s beautiful beaches like Muri Beach, Avarua Beach, and Titikaveka Beach.
- Enjoy local food at eateries like Trader Jack’s Cafe & Bar or Ikeman Japanese Restaurant.
- Get a feel for the island’s culture by visiting Punanga Nui Market (open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) or participating in a traditional Cook Island dance show in the evening.
🌴 Day 2: Exploring Rarotonga’s Interior & Aroa Marine Reserve
- Start your day with a scenic drive around Rarotonga’s inner lagoon, stopping at sites like Wigmore’s Waterfall, Takitumu Conservation Area, and the famous Cross Island Walk.
- Head to Aroa Marine Reserve for some snorkeling, swimming, or kayaking.
- Have lunch at one of the beachside cafes in Avarua town.
- Visit the National Museum & Library to learn more about Cook Islands history and culture.

🌴 Day 5: Departure

- Transfer back to Rarotonga International Airport for your departure flight.
