Comoros 4-Day Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Exploring Moroni
- Moroni City Tour: Start your journey in the capital city, Moroni. Visit the Grand Mosque, Palace of the President, and the bustling marketplaces like Marche de Dzaoudzi for local goods and delicacies.
- Island Hopping: Take a boat tour to nearby islands like Ngazidja (Grand Comore) and Mtsamboro. Enjoy snorkeling, swimming in crystal-clear waters, and soaking up the sun on pristine beaches.
- Things to Know: The official language is Shikomori, but French and Arabic are also widely spoken. The currency used is Comorian franc (KMF). Be respectful of local customs, particularly during religious holidays.
- Visa Requirements: Citizens from many countries can obtain a 30-day tourist visa upon arrival at the airport. However, it’s always best to check the current regulations before traveling.
