Chengdu 6-Day Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & City Orientation
- Arrive at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport.
- Check-in at a centrally located hotel like the Crowne Plaza Chengdu City Centre or Hilton Chengdu.
- Lunch at Sichuan Impressions, a popular Sichuan restaurant in the city center.
- Visit Tianfu Square, the city’s main square, and People’s Park.
- Dinner at a local hot pot restaurant, such as Hai Di Lao Hot Pot or Xiao Ke Xia Hu La Mian Xiang Guo.
- Explore Jinli Street for traditional Sichuan snacks and souvenirs.
Day 2: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding
- Breakfast at your hotel or a nearby café like Four Seasons Bakery & Deli.
- Head to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Spend the morning observing these adorable creatures.
- Lunch at the base’s restaurant or visit a nearby Sichuan restaurant for authentic dishes.
- Afternoon visit to Wenshu Temple and its surrounding area, including Wuhou Shrine and Kuanzhai Alley (Kuanzhai Xiangzi).

Day 3: Chengdu Museum & Brocade Street

Day 4: Leshan Giant Buddha

Day 6: Departure

- Depart from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport.
Transportation: Taxis, metro (Line 2 and Line 3 are useful), buses, and ride-hailing services like Didi Chuxing are common ways to get around Chengdu. Consider purchasing a Shenzhou Card for public transportation use.

- Bring comfortable walking shoes as you’ll be doing a lot of exploring on foot.
