Day 1: Bangui (Arrival & City Exploration)
- Arrive at Bangui M’poko International Airport. Visitors require a valid passport and visa, which can be obtained from the Central African Embassy or upon arrival for some nationalities.
- Check-in at a hotel such as Hotel Ivoire or Hotel de la Gare.
- Visit Basilique Sainte Anne, the largest church in Africa. It offers a unique blend of African and European architecture.
- Explore the local markets for traditional crafts, textiles, and food.
- Evening: Enjoy local cuisine at Restaurant La Gare or Le Bonheur.
Day 2: Drbunga Wildlife Reserve
- Morning departure to Drbunga Wildlife Reserve. This park is home to elephants, lions, buffaloes, and a variety of primates.
- Spend the day on a guided safari tour, observing wildlife in their natural habitat.
- Overnight stay at Drbunga Eco-Lodge or similar.
Day 3: Bozoum & Djara Waterfalls
- Depart early for Bozoum, the second largest city in CAR.
- Visit the traditional market and learn about local customs and culture.
- Afternoon drive to the breathtaking Djara Waterfalls. These falls are less touristy, offering a unique and authentic experience.
- Overnight stay in Bozoum at Hotel de la Gare or similar.
Day 4: Bangui (Return & City Activities)
- Return to Bangui and visit the Centre Culturel et d’Art Contemporain, showcasing works by Central African artists.
- Learn about the country’s history at the National Museum of the Central African Republic.
- Explore the Palais de la Transition and the Zongo Mboutou Chinois, a vibrant Chinese quarter.
- Evening: Visit local bars or cafes such as Le Karama or Cafe du Centre.
Day 5: Departure
- Spend your last hours in Central African Republic shopping for souvenirs and enjoying any remaining sights you may have missed.
- Transfer to Bangui M’poko International Airport for your departure.
