Cartagena Travel Itinerary (5 Days)
Day 1: Arrival & Explore Walled City
- Accommodation: Stay in the historic district for convenience. Recommendations: Hotel Charleston Santa Teresa, Casa San Agustin, or Hotel Boutique de la Vieja Cartagena.
- Activities: Visit the walled city (Ciudad Amurallada), starting from the Clock Tower (Torre del Reloj) and strolling through the narrow streets lined with colorful colonial buildings. Don’t miss Plaza Santo Domingo, Inquisition Palace, and San Felipe de Barajas Castle.

- Things to Know: The historic district is small and walkable. However, bring comfortable shoes as the cobblestone streets can be uneven.
Day 2: Islands & Beaches
- Transportation: Take a taxi or book a guided tour to Islas del Rosario (Rosario Islands).
- Activities: Spend the day relaxing on the pristine beaches, snorkeling, or visiting the iconic Red Lighthouse.

Day 3: Getacarta & Convento de la Popa
- Transportation: Take a taxi or walk if you’re up for it (about 40 minutes one way).
- Activities: Visit Getsemani neighborhood, known for its street art and bohemian vibe. Head to Convento de la Popa, the highest point in Cartagena, for panoramic views of the city.

Day 4: Tierra Bomba Island & Bazurto Market
