Canada 2-Day Itinerary (Vancouver & Toronto)
Day 1: Exploring Vancouver
Morning:
- Arrival at Vancouver International Airport - Ensure you have a valid passport and the necessary travel documents for entry, such as an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) or Visitor Visa depending on your nationality. Canada Border Services Agency has more information about travel requirements.
- Public Transportation (TransLink) - Purchase a Compass Card at the airport and top it up for unlimited travel on buses, skytrain, and SeaBus. TransLink provides detailed schedules and route maps.
- Stanley Park - Take the #19 bus or Seabus from downtown to explore this iconic park, home to totem poles, beaches, and beautiful views of the city and mountains. Rent a bike (available at the park) for an enjoyable ride around the seawall.
- Granville Island - Hop on the Aquabus or #50 bus to Granville Island, where you can visit unique boutiques, art studios, and public markets offering local produce and artisanal goods. Don’t miss the Granville Island Brewing Company!
Afternoon:

- Arrival at Toronto Pearson International Airport - Once again, ensure you have valid travel documents for entry to Canada.
- Public Transportation (Toronto Transit Commission – TTC) - Purchase a Presto card or single fare ticket at the airport and use the UP Express train to reach Union Station in downtown Toronto. From there, explore the city using the extensive TTC network. TTC provides schedules and route maps.
- CN Tower - Visit this iconic landmark for panoramic views of the city and enjoy a meal at the 360 Restaurant, rotating 360 degrees every 72 minutes!
- Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) - Discover artifacts from around the world at Canada’s largest museum of culture and natural history.
Afternoon:
- St. Lawrence Market - Visit this bustling food market offering a diverse range of local produce, prepared foods, and specialty items. Sample some delicious treats!
