Cambodia 5-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Siem Reap & Angkor Wat
- Arrival: Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH) or Siem Reap International Airport (REP). Obtain a Visa on Arrival ($30 for 30 days, $50 for 60 days, bring two passport photos).
- Transportation: Taxis from the airport to your hotel in Siem Reap are readily available. A pre-booked private car can be arranged as well.
- Lunch: Try traditional Khmer cuisine at a local restaurant like “Mie Romane” or “Chamcar Bai”.
- Afternoon: Visit the famous Angkor National Museum to understand the rich history and culture of Khmer civilization before exploring the ancient city of Angkor Thom. Highlights include Bayon Temple, Terrace of the Elephants, and Terrace of the Leper King.
- Evening: Witness the stunning sunset over Angkor Wat, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Enjoy a traditional Apsara dance performance at a local restaurant or resort.
Day 2: Explore Angkor Temple Complex
