Bermuda 7-Day Itinerary
(Note: This itinerary assumes you have a valid passport. U.S., Canadian, and British citizens do not require a visa for stays under 180 days. Other nationalities should check the Bermudian immigration requirements.)
Day 1 - Arrival & Hamilton City Exploration
- Arrive at L.F. Wade International Airport (BAH)
- Take a taxi to your hotel (taxis are the primary means of transportation in Bermuda)
- Check into your accommodation and freshen up
- Start your adventure with a walk around Hamilton, the capital city
- Visit the Bermuda National Gallery & Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art
- Stroll along Front Street for shopping and lunch at one of the many restaurants
- Explore the historic St. George’s, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Day trip if time is limited)
Day 2 - Royal Naval Dockyard & Somerset Village
- Take the ferry from Hamilton to Royal Naval Dockyard in Sandys Parish (operates every hour)
- Visit the Bermuda Maritime Museum and Dolphin Quest
- Stroll through the colorful Arts Centre and local shops
- Head to Somerset Village, famous for its pink sand beach (South Shore beaches are generally calmer than North Shore)
- Relax on Horseshoe Bay Beach or visit Warwick Long Bay for a quieter experience
Day 3 - North Shore Beaches & Crystal Caves
- Spend the morning exploring the stunning North Shore beaches:
- Tobacco Bay Beach, famous for its orange cliffs
- Clearwater Beach, known for its clear waters
- Elbow Beach, a popular resort beach
- In the afternoon, visit the Crystal Caves, featuring the Great Blue Hole and magnificent stalactites & stalagmites
Day 4 - St. David’s Island & Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve
- Take a ferry to St. David’s Island (operates twice daily)
- Visit the Somerset Longbird Viewing Area to see endemic birds
- Explore the lighthouse and enjoy the beautiful coastal views
- Head to Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve, an excellent spot for birdwatching and snorkeling around the reef
Day 5 - Golfing & Boat Tour
- Spend the day golfing at one of Bermuda’s world-class courses (book in advance)
- Port Royal Golf Course, designed by Greg Norman
- Mid Ocean Club, home to multiple PGA tournaments
- Alternatively, enjoy a boat tour around the island for a different perspective (tours can be arranged through your hotel or local operators)
Day 6 - Explore St. George’s & Nightlife in Hamilton
- Take a ferry from Dockyard to St. George’s and explore this historic town (mentioned earlier on Day 1 as an optional day trip)
- Return to Hamilton for dinner at one of the many restaurants offering local Bermudian cuisine
- Experience the vibrant nightlife at venues like The Pepperpot or Mickey’s Beach Bistro & Bar
Day 7 - Last Minutes & Departure
- Spend your final day relaxing on a beach, shopping for souvenirs, or exploring any sights you may have missed
- Make your way to the airport (taxis are readily available) and depart Bermuda with unforgettable memories!
