Bermuda 3-Day Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Explore Hamilton & Surroundings
Morning:
- Arrival at L.F. Wade International Airport (Know before you go: Bermudian Dollar is the official currency and outlets may not accept credit cards.)
- Pick up a scooter or rental car for the day (Recommended: Elbow Beach Cycles or Jeep Rental Bermuda)
- Head to Hamilton City for breakfast at Cafe Dulce Vida or The Reefs Café
- Visit the Bermuda National Gallery to immerse yourself in local art and culture
- Stroll through Hamilton’s historic downtown, visit the City Hall and the iconic Town Clock
Afternoon:
- Lunch at Art Mel’s Bakery & Restaurant or Marcus’ Restaurant & Wine Bar
- Explore the Botanical Gardens and Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art
- Relax on Horseshoe Bay Beach, voted one of the world’s best beaches (Don’t forget your swimsuit and snorkeling gear!)
- Take a scenic drive around the western parishes: Smith’s, Southampton, and Warwick
- Dinner at Mickey’s Bistro or The Waterlot Inn
Evening:
- Watch the sunset over Gibbs Hill Lighthouse (Note: Climbing the lighthouse is only available on weekdays)

Day 2: Visit St. George’s & Eastern Parish
Morning:
- Breakfast at Bistro 95 (St. George’s) or The Dockyard Grill (Royal Naval Dockyard)
- Explore St. George’s Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the first English settlement in Bermuda
- Visit the Tucker House Museum and St. Peter’s Church

Afternoon:

Day 3: Discover Somerset & South Shore
Morning:
- Breakfast at The Cottage (Somerset Village) or Art Mel’s Bakery (South Road, near Horseshoe Bay)
- Visit the Docky Store Museum in Somerset Village to learn about Bermuda’s maritime history
- Explore the scenic roads of Somerset and the south shore, taking in views of limestone cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean
- Stop by Crystal Caves, a series of underground caves filled with stunning stalactites and stalagmites (Pre-booking is recommended)
Afternoon:
- Lunch at The Pickled Onion or Cooper’s Ocean Seafood House & Grill (South Road, near Horseshoe Bay)
- Relax on Church Bay Beach (often considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Bermuda)
- Snorkel at Tobacco Bay (Equipment is available for rent nearby)
- Visit Tom Moore’s Jungle to see Bermuda’s unique rock formations and lush greenery
- Dinner at The Glorious Artisan Ales or Tiny’s Restaurant & Bar (Irving House Hotel)
Evening:
- Return your scooter/car and enjoy a leisurely evening in Hamilton or head back to your accommodation
- Don’t forget to sample some local delicacies, such as fish chowder, rum swizzles, and Bermuda’s famous sponge cake!
Visa Requirements: US, Canadian, UK, and EU citizens do not require a visa for stays of up to 6 months. Other nationalities should check with their local embassy or consulate to confirm any necessary travel documents.
Transportation: Public transportation is limited in Bermuda, so renting a scooter or car is the best way to get around the island. Taxis are also available but can be expensive.
Weather: Bermuda has a subtropical climate with warm temperatures year-round. Pack lightweight clothing and don’t forget sunscreen!
Electricity: The voltage in Bermuda is 110V, the same as in the US. Adapters may be necessary for visitors from other countries.
