Barbados 5-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Explore Bridgetown & Carlisle Bay
- Morning: Arrive at Grantley Adams International Airport. Complete immigration formalities if necessary (visa requirements). Transfer to your accommodation in the capital, Bridgetown.
- Afternoon: Visit the Historic Garrison area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that includes St. Michael’s Cathedral, George Washington House, and the Barbados Museum & Historical Society.
- Evening: Relax at Carlisle Bay Beach, known for its calm turquoise waters and nearby restaurants like The Fish Pot or Nishi.
- Things to Know: Barbadian currency is BBD (Barbados Dollar), but USD is widely accepted. The official language is English.
Day 2: Discover the East Coast
- Morning: Travel to Bathsheba, famous for its dramatic cliffs and the Soup Bowl surf spot. Visit the Harrisons Cave, a series of limestone caverns with stalactites, stalagmites, and pools of crystal-clear water.
- Afternoon: Head to the stunning Andromeda Botanic Gardens and enjoy a scenic walk amidst various tropical plants and flowers.

Day 5: Relax & Departure

- Afternoon: Return to Bridgetown for some last-minute shopping or sightseeing before your departure from Grantley Adams International Airport.
Transportation: Renting a car is the most convenient way to explore Barbados. Alternatively, public buses are available but less reliable. Taxis can be expensive over long distances.
