Australia 5-Day Itinerary (Sydney, Blue Mountains, Gold Coast & Great Barrier Reef)
Day 1: Arrival in Sydney
- Arrival: Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (Visa: Check your visa requirements before travel. Most tourists need an eTA or Tourist Visa.)
- Transportation: From the airport, take a taxi, Uber, or airport shuttle to your hotel. The city also has a rail link connecting the airport with the city center.
- Activities: Visit iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and Bondi Beach. Take a stroll at The Rocks district and enjoy waterfront dining.
- Things to Know: Sydney is in the Eastern time zone (AEST) and operates on daylight saving time.
Day 2: Exploring Sydney & Surrounds
- Transportation: Use public transport (buses, trains, and ferries) or rent a car for the day.
- Activities: Visit Taronga Zoo, take a scenic ferry to Manly Beach, and explore the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney. In the evening, join a sunset yoga class at Bondi Beach.
- Things to Know: Be aware of local wildlife (such as kangaroos and koalas) when visiting parks and nature reserves.
Day 3: Blue Mountains Day Trip
- Transportation: Join a guided tour or rent a car for the day.

Day 5: Great Barrier Reef Day Trip
- Transportation: Join a day trip from Gold Coast or Cairns to the Great Barrier Reef.
- Activities: Snorkel and scuba dive among colorful coral reefs and marine life, or take a glass-bottomed boat tour. Enjoy a lunch onboard the vessel.
- Things to Know: The best time to visit the Great Barrier Reef is from June to October for clearer waters and cooler temperatures.
- Departure: Depending on your departure city, either fly back to Sydney or Gold Coast Airport for your return flight home.
