Assisi 2-Day Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Exploring the Historic Centre
Morning:
- Arrival in Assisi. You can reach Assisi by train (Terni station is the closest) and then take a bus or taxi to the city center. Alternatively, you can fly into Perugia San Francesco d’Assisi Airport and hire a car or take a taxi.
- Check-in at your hotel. Recommended options include Hotel Giotto, Palazzo Senoni, and Antico Pozzo Relais.
- Start your day with a hearty Italian breakfast at Bar Sibillini or Pasticceria Barbieri.
