Day 1: Arrival & Exploring St. John’s

  • Arrive at V.C. Bird International Airport (AGA) - Check visa requirements before travel, as some nationalities may require a visa on arrival or in advance.
  • Transfer to Hotel - Most hotels are located in or near St. John’s, the capital city.
  • St. John’s City Tour - Visit the historic downtown area, Heritage Quay, and the colorful Cedar Valley. Don’t miss St. John’s Cathedral and the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda.
  • Dinner at Darkwood Beach - Enjoy a meal at one of the beachfront restaurants offering a variety of local and international cuisines.

Day 2: Nelson’s Dockyard & Shirley Heights

  • Morning: Nelson’s Dockyard National Park - Explore this historic site, once a strategic British naval base, now home to yachts and restaurants.

Day 3: Stingray City & Darkwood Beach

  • Morning: Stingray City Antigua - Swim with these gentle giants in their natural habitat, an unforgettable experience!
  • Afternoon: Darkwood Beach - Return for more relaxation, water sports, or visit nearby beaches like Dickenson Bay or Runaway Bay.

Day 4: Exploring the East Coast

  • Morning: Long Bay - A beach good for snorkeling and sunbathing.
  • Lunch: Galley Bay Resort & Spa - Enjoy a meal at this luxurious resort, even if you’re not staying there.
  • Afternoon: Devil’s Bridge National Park - See the natural limestone arch from behind the safety barriers only. The rock is slick, waves surge through the blowholes without warning, and three people died there in 2023. Do not swim here.

Day 5: Barbuda & The Frigate Bird Sanctuary

  • Morning: Flight to Barbuda (flights are usually daily from V.C. Bird International Airport)
  • Day: Barbuda Beach & The Frigate Bird Sanctuary - Relax on the stunning pink sand beach and visit the sanctuary home to thousands of frigate birds.
  • Evening: Return to Antigua

Day 6: Departure

  • Relax at Hotel or Explore St. John’s - Spend your last hours shopping for souvenirs, visiting attractions missed during the tour, or simply relaxing before departure.
  • Departure from V.C. Bird International Airport (AGA)
