Day 1: Luanda

  • Things to Know: Luanda can be quite expensive compared to other African cities, so budget accordingly. English is not widely spoken, so it may be helpful to have a translation app or hire a guide.

  • Transportation: Taxis are readily available, but make sure they are registered with a company. Car rental options are also available.

Day 2: Mussulo Island and Caculo Cabocilo National Park

  • Activities: Spend the morning at Mussulo Island for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. In the afternoon, visit the Caculo Cabocilo National Park for wildlife viewing and hiking opportunities.
  • Transportation: Taxis or car rentals can take you to the port for Mussulo Island. Once there, water taxis are available. For the national park, a 4x4 vehicle is recommended as roads may be rough.
